Project workflows

Each record type has a fixed set of statuses so reporting stays consistent.

• Milestones: planned, in progress, at risk, completed, cancelled
• Risks: open, mitigating, accepted, closed
• Issues: open, in progress, resolved, closed
• Work items: to do, in progress, blocked, done
• Dependencies: open, at risk, resolved
• Decisions: proposed, decided, superseded

Risks, issues and dependencies can link to a milestone, and issues can link to a risk. Links only work inside the same project.

Project health is Green, Amber, Red or Unknown. Unknown is the default and is shown in grey. Changing project health through the steward is a high-impact action and needs an additional confirmation.

Deleting a record asks for confirmation and is limited to project managers and administrators. The deletion is recorded in the audit log.
